Giving a boost to life plans

The Carrefour jeunesse-emploi Avignon-Bonaventure provides free support to young adults aged 16 to 35 as they work toward a better quality of life. Whether they’re looking for a job, choosing a path of study, pursuing a project, or going through a difficult time, we’re here to listen, empower, and support each young adult based on their individual circumstances.
Through a personalized, compassionate, and accessible approach, our team helps young adults develop their independence, find their place in the job market, and get actively involved in their community. Here, every journey is unique, and every young person is welcomed with respect, kindness, and confidence in their potential.

An approach that ensures easy, barrier-free access, enabling all young adults—including those with special needs—to participate fully in activities.
A commitment to creating an environment where diversity is celebrated and where every young adult feels valued, respected, and included, regardless of their differences.
The ability to initiate, execute, and manage projects with little or no external oversight, thereby fostering innovation and accountability while promoting a sense of professional satisfaction and accomplishment.
Dedicated and actively involved in youth work. Enabling young adults to achieve their goals while upholding the organization’s values, as demonstrated by a commitment to contributing to collective success.

The Avignon-Bonaventure Youth Employment Centre was established in June 1997 following a major community effort to improve the future of young people aged 16 to 35. Since then, it has become an essential resource in the region, offering support to young adults in the areas of employment, education, personal projects, and well-being.
Based in the Avignon and Bonaventure RCMs, the Center reaches young people throughout the region—in villages, municipalities, and Indigenous communities—by working closely with local stakeholders. Over the years, it has built solid expertise and adapted to meet the needs of local young adults, with a human, personalized approach rooted in the community.
Action Travail Chaleurs Inc. is the independent community organization that manages the Carrefour jeunesse-emploi. Founded in 1983 by unemployed young people who wanted to take control of their future, its mission has always been to improve the socioeconomic conditions of young people in the region by supporting their projects and their integration into the job market.
It was in this same spirit of mutual aid, collaboration, and innovation that ATC sponsored the creation of the CJE Avignon-Bonaventure in 1997—a project that is now at the heart of its work with young adults.
